
Despite being marketed as an entry-level crossover, the Buick Encore is actually an excellent SUV. It's solid and provides excellent visibility. Encore also comes equipped with a variety of high-end features.
Four trim levels are available for the Buick Encore. The Preferred model, which can be the most expensive, costs $25795 for the front wheel-drive version. The all-wheel drive model costs about $600 more but offers additional traction in snow, water, and other conditions.
The Preferred model comes with a turbocharged four-cylinder turbocharged engine of 1.4 liters that produces 155 horsepower, and 177 pound-feet torque. This engine can also get 32 miles per gallon on the highway when equipped with a CVT. However, the smaller engine of 1.2-liters gets only 30 mpg when paired up with a CVT.

The Encore is smooth to drive and the interior is elegant. The Encore has plenty of space in both rows and decent headroom. The center console is also well-laid out, with a good amount of space to spare.
The cabin of the Buick Encore is quite quiet with active noise cancellation. The height and lumbar support can be manually adjusted for the front passenger seat. There is also a rear-facing cam and a rear crosstraffic alert.
Buick Encore can also be ordered with heated front seats or a leather-wrapped steering. The center console includes an automatic climate control system. The rear seats are spacious enough for three adults, but not enough to provide sufficient headroom. The interior is 48.4 cubic feet, which makes it a good choice for cargo.
There's a good selection of standard features on the Encore, and the infotainment system is user-friendly. The steering wheel is tilted and adjustable, and the rear seat can slide forward and back, making it easy to adjust the backrest and the reclining seatbacks.

Buick also has a forward-collision warning system. It alerts the driver whenever the car starts to drift towards the edge, or is too close to the vehicle ahead. It can monitor engine torque and adjust the brakes. Encore also includes rear cross traffic alert which notifies the driver when another vehicle is in the space behind.
Encore will get a new 155-hp turbo I-4 1.4L Turbo I-4 motor for 2022. It will also offer a new electric heater and defroster, which replaces the heater core system. It has 18-inch alloy tires, cloth/simulated leather upholstery, roof rails, and roof rails. The standard six-way power driver seat is also a new feature. The Preferred model will come standard with an electric heater. The Preferred will come standard equipped with all-wheel drive.
The Buick Encore offers a wonderful combination of versatility, convenience, and a very affordable price. It is also the most comfortable vehicle in its class.
